Penicuik First is a "not for profit" organisation, which exists solely to make the BID area of Penicuik town centre a more vibrant and lucrative place for the businesses it represents to trade. The Board of Directors is made up of volunteers from local businesses, community groups and local Councillors, who give up their spare time to ensure funds are used appropriately and to the benefit of the town centre BID area.
